1/1/19 Celebrated New Year in Putrajaya.

Happy New Year baby!

The family and I decided to spend the night in a hotel in Putrajaya this year.  There was a Light and Motion Show before the New Year's firework.

We checked in to our room.  Guess what's the number: 725 a 7:7.  Then we went down for dinner, my treat.  It was RM61 = 7.  I told you I was bombarded by 7:7 throughout the year.  I take it that the odds are in my favor the upcoming year.

It rained a bit around 8:00 pm.  So we stayed in our room until the rain stopped.  The part of the street where the festival was held was darkened.  They have food trucks selling assortment of food.  I tried the octopus ball.

There were also train rides decorated with neon lights and people walking around with neon balloons and flickering umbrellas.  It was surreal to see the glows in motion.

The main attraction is the light show as shown below:

While the kids were busy taking street photography, Lizzie and I went up to the room.  At about 15 minutes before midnight, we went to look for a secluded area, away from the crowd to enjoy the unobstructed view of the fireworks.

It was a good decision to take up the hotel.  The rush of people going back after the event was pretty bad.  It as a standstill for a few hours.

Hey, how was your celebration honey?  Did you have fun?

So here we are Sarah, entering 2019.  All the best to you baby.
